Description and Requirements

Area Manager – Samsung Experience Stores

Premium Area Managers play an integral role in program success through oversight of sales, operations, marketing / merchandising and reporting. Your main goal is to ensure the success of stores in your region by executing on all operational aspects of each store and driving sales while minimizing cost.

What will you do?

  • Drive retail excellence and outstanding customer service on behalf of Samsung.
  • Develop strategies based on analysis to drive improved sales performance and provide coaching and consultation to store management and sales associates influencing implementation.
  • Closely partner with Samsung to provide timely feedback around compliance, sales challenges / opportunities, training completion, events, analytics and customer engagement.
  • Introduce and closely monitor various HQ tasks and initiatives including mystery shops, customer engagement tools, marketing campaigns and audits. 
  • Deliver weekly sales, profit and inventory reports.
  • Represent stores in your region at head office meetings.
  • Ensure successful and effective onboarding, development and coaching of all staff.
  • Provide coaching and enhancements to improve store conditions and customer experience.
  • Drive store sales by delivering appropriate sales coaching focusing on premium mix, cross-selling and accessory attach rate.
  • Work with Galaxy Consultants (service reps) to close off service issues and escalations.
  • Play an active role in recruitment and interviewing of candidates.
  • Regularly review inventory and flag concerns.
  • Present sales, staffing and HQ initiative updates to Samsung senior management.
  • Ensure flawless execution of new launch plans.

What experience should you have?

  • 5 years in sales, sales management, marketing, account management or similar.
