Description and Requirements

The IT Support Asset Manager will partner with the clients, client team, and end users alike to ensure assets are properly secured, tracked, and managed throughout the life cycle of the asset device. This position will be responsible for managing client assets that include, but are not limited to: desktop/laptop computers, phones, monitors, TV's, tablets, and peripherals.

What will you do?
  • Responsible for managing the full asset life-cycle in Asset Management Systems. 
  • Organize receiving function including receiving, inventorying, and labeling company assets. Check shipments upon arrival to ensure compliance with specifications and corresponding orders. 
  • Maintain inventory, ensuring accurate and timely updates for all assets. 
  • Ensure proper disposal of old assets following internal workflows and procedures.  
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with internal clients. Share information regularly to ensure transparency and alignment. 
  • Prepare management and client reports, providing insights and recommendations as needed. 
  • Conduct monthly inventory of all company assets to track usage and status. 
  • Provide project management support during launches and for additional ad hoc needs as required. 
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, Smart Phones, and Tablets. 
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets via email or phone, ensuring timely resolution of issues. 
  • Train computer and tablet users on proper usage and troubleshooting techniques.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar experience is preferred. 
  • Two years of experience with Asset Coordination and/or Help Desk Ticketing Systems. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office365, Azure, Windows, email support, and networking. 
  • Microsoft Certifications or CompTIA preferred. Internal vendor and/or client certifications as assigned. 
  • Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and Access. 
  • Must have a significant understanding of remote business tools such as smart phones, tablets, and laptops, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Must be able to maintain composure in stressful situations. 
  • Must maintain a professional and presentable demeanor.
